• We also service Border City, the Town of Waterloo (Burgess Rd.), the Town of Junius which includes the Finger Lakes Outlet Center and NYS Thruway Rest Area (Junius Ponds), the Fayette Water District #1 near the Water Plant on Seneca Lake, Varick on Seneca Lake, Romulus Hamlet, Sampson State Park, and the Seneca Army Depot Activity.

Treating the water properly has become more of a challenge over the years, primarily as a result of Zebra Mussels and their by- products, as well as more stringent EPA requirements.

We filter our water, treat it with potassium permanganate to help oxidize organics & deter Zebra Mussels. We then add activated carbon to obsorb organics in the raw water as well as help make the water taste better. The finished product is then disinfected with chlorine before it leaves the Water Plant.

We perform in- house bacteriological testing in our NYS certified lab. All other required testing is done by a private lab. Water quality test results have been and continue to be without violations. We meet or exceed EPA and NYS Health Department requirements.
