What is Waterloo In Bloom?
Waterloo In Bloom is a committee of volunteers working together to improve and beautify our community.

Organized in the spring of 2002, the group was formed to prepare Waterloo to compete in America In Bloom, a national beautification program that fosters community involvement, patriotism and civic pride through the challenge of a friendly competition between participating communities across the country. The committee has stayed together and grown over the past 7 years. We enjoy what we do & welcome your input, ideas and participation. Our first meeting of 2008 will be on March 13th at 7:00 pm at the community center.
Regular meetings will be on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Please join us and bring a friend!

This year as a part of our efforts, 50 hanging baskets and more than 45 containers filled with flowers decorated the downtown area. Twelve flower beds along Virginia St., at the seven welcome signs and in the 4 village cemeteries, all maintained by volunteers, helped beautify the village.

2006 photos
2007 was our 6th year of recognizing the gardening efforts of village residents, businesses and organizations. It has been a great program to get the whole community involved and enthused over the appearance and beauty of the village.
SEVEN YEARS OF RECOGNIZING FRONT YARD GARDENS!!!
……AND STILL GROWING
